Weekend Activity: CIP Bloomington Visits Wonderlab Museum’s “Your Amazing Brain”

An active social life is an important component of CIP’s curriculum. Through weekend activities, students have the opportunity to develop lasting friendships while engaging in field trips that involve musical performances, sporting events, museums and cultural attractions, and outdoor activities.

CIP Students got to preview the new exhibit “Your Amazing Brain” at Wonderlab Museum of Science, Health and Technology in Bloomington on Sunday, January 31st. The preview reception was hosted by Wonderlab for a community sneak peek of their exhibit which highlighted the human brain through exciting exhibits, challenges, and games. They explored what your brain looks like, what the role of electricity is in making things happen inside your head, how your brain processes sensory information, how learning and memory are established, and how you can change your brain by what you think and do.
