Students Learning the Legal Process

Students traveled to Glendale City Court today to observe court proceedings and get some awareness of the legal process. As part of the Conflict Resolution curriculum, students were able to see situations in which people had experienced conflict. Domestic violence cases were seen as well as several traffic violations. Students observed the defendants’ interactions with judge and then reflected with each other and instructors afterwards on those interactions as well as appearance and behaviors of others in the courtroom.
