Student Ambassador: Rose A., CIP Berkshire

The following is a special needs program update from Asperger’s & LD College Programs. You may also click here to read the original article on the program’s website.

rose aMy name is Rose A., I am twenty-four years old and from Washington DC. I have been at CIP for three years now and am currently attending BCC. I am studying early childhood education and hope to receive my associate’s degree this time next year. At the end of this semester I will receive my intermediate certificate.

I am currently volunteering at the Norman Rockwell Early Childhood Center located on the BCC campus. I am a part of the service learning program and tutor fifth grader through that program. I’m also the first member of CIP to ever become a member of the Phi Theta Kappa honors society. I love listening to audio books and I’m currently trying to get through the second Game of Thrones book.
