For some, seeing a uniformed police officer can be intimidating. Downright terrifying, maybe.

To help avoid that, the College Internship Program (CIP) hosts periodic Donuts with a Cop events. One of those took place Friday, introducing about 24 students with various learning disabilities to Long Beach police officers.
