Upon review of the documentation and information submitted to the National Association of Special Education Teachers (NASET), we would like to congratulate Life Development Institute on having met the standards to be selected as 2016-2017 NASET School of Excellence.  This distinction has been bestowed upon select qualified
licensed private special education schools.

Selection as a NASET School of Excellence is the highest level of recognition a private special education school can achieve through our professional association.  This honor is presented to private special education schools that meet rigorous professional criteria and have demonstrated truly exceptional dedication, commitment and achievement in the field of special education.

Having met the criteria as a NASET School of Excellence, you will receive a certificate of merit.

Life Development Institute will also be featured as a NASET School of Excellence on our website, as can be seen in this year’s recipients listing which you will find at:  (http://www.naset.org/3974.0.html).

Again, congratulations on being accepted as a 2016-2017 NASET School of Excellence.

Sincerely,

Dr. Roger Pierangelo and Dr. George Giuliani
Executive Directors
National Association of Special Education Teachers (NASET)

What a great testimony about the work that is completed at Life Development Institute.  In fact, LDI’s mission is to provide non-traditional, college-capable students a practical and inclusive bridge to improve college/career readiness and success, build cultural competence, and develop personal leadership skills.  This mission is fulfilled through LDI’s fully accredited high school, post-secondary and summer academy programs for higher education capable young adults who have Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, and other learning disabilities.
