Transitioning to Independent Living

Moving from adolescence to adulthood comes with challenges for everyone. These challenges can often be heightened when coupled with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, and other learning disabilities. Often times, parents, families, teachers, and schools seek assistance with this growth but fail to identify solutions and resources.

Identifying and making use of the many programs and services that are now available can dramatically help young adults to grow and thrive, achieve success in obtaining competitive employment, live on their own, pursue higher education or advanced job training, and develop healthy adult relationships. Please join us for this groundbreaking workshop where we will explore options available today for young adults.

This workshop shares best practices that enable high school students, young adults and their families identify services and support both during and after high school in order to prepare for successful independent living, prosperous work & career, healthy & satisfying relationships, and adult roles in their community.

Who should attend?
If you are a young adult with disabilities, a family member of someone with disabilities, or involved in the education, management or counsel of young adults, then you should come and learn about the support that exists for transitional growth.

Attendance is complimentary but capacity is limited, so register today!
