Due to extreme cold, topping off ceremony moved to Tuesday, Feb. 5, noon

Join us for a “Topping Off” Ceremony as the final construction beam is hoisted via crane
Chapel Haven Schleifer Center, Inc. has moved our topping off ceremony to next Tuesday, Feb. 5, noon in our new courtyard.
Join us to sign our construction beam and watch as a crane hoists it into place on the fourth floor of our new SAIL universal campus taking shape!
Come, sign the beam and enjoy the spectacle! Join us afterward in our Welcome Center for light refreshments. Questions or RSVP to Catherine. Learn more about our project here: New SAIL campus for lifelong living rises into the sky!
In case you are wondering what a topping off ceremony signifies, in the building construction field, the topping out (sometimes referred to as topping off) is a builders’ rite traditionally held when the last beam(or its equivalent) is placed atop a structure during its construction. It has since come to mean more generally finishing the structure of the building. We are excited!
When: Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2019
Time: arrive at 11:30 a.m. to sign the beam!
Where: Chapel Haven Schleifer Center courtyard, 1040 Whalley Avenue, New Haven, CT 06515
