Job Description:
The Creative Arts Coordinator will combine exceptional organizational skills and interpersonal skills with a passion for arts/education administration. S/he coordinates the scheduling of instructors, classes, exhibits and events at CIP Berkshire’s professional art gallery and playhouse, develops partnerships and secures sponsors for programs and events, and facilitates community outreach and development efforts.

Reports to the CIP Berkshire Program Director. In addition to these qualifications, we are seeking someone with a positive attitude who is flexible, conscientious, and with superior judgment; as well as someone who thrives in evolving and quickly changing environments. The most successful CIP staff members have a strong commitment to teamwork, impact, and accountability.

Requirements:

  • Strong general knowledge of the arts, including marketing, box office, production, performance and creation
  • Demonstrated success in community outreach and partnerships
  • BA/S from four-year college or university; additional training or certifications preferred
  • Excellent representational and collaboration skills
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Experience with young adults with special needs (Autism, ADHD and other learning differences) a plus
