CIP Brevard Students Speak at University of Central Florida

Brevard StudentsLast week, select students were invited to speak on a guest panel at the University of Central Florida to a class of 25 up-and-coming social workers on Asperger’s and Learning Differences. Thea, Stephanie, and Logan accepted the invitation and staff drove them to meet Savannah, a life skills staff member, at the Orlando campus. Savannah facilitated the guest panel, and the students did a wonderful job responding to the questions and speaking to the audience. Audience members were given an opportunity to ask questions after the panel interview, and several questions were asked. The instructor for the course thanked Savannah and the students for the presentation, and stated that the guest panel was “excellent.” Before leaving campus, staff took a picture of the students by the the Student Union (above).
