CIP Bloomington Connects with the Community

Parker and Jacky at Middleway HouseCIP Bloomington students are continually working on improving their organizational skills and reducing clutter in their living spaces and lives. Students got the opportunity to rid their rooms of clutter by hosting a rummage sale at the center, with the proceeds going to MiddleWay House. Inspired by a desire to help, students decided in their Student Forum that MiddleWay house, a local organization which provides crisis intervention, shelter, legal advocacy, support groups, and case management to individuals experiencing domestic violence, was the community organization they wanted the proceeds go to. Jacky and Parker delivered the donation with Oriane Robison, our Life Skills Coordinator, who organized the event.
