A Writer’s Dream

by Eric DeFilippis

John Waters was a very smart and very insightful young man.  From a young age, he was always writing something.  From a personal journal, to fiction short stories, John wrote it all.  Unfortunately, he struggled during all of his school years because he was diagnosed with Asperger’s Syndrome.  Socially, he didn’t know how to act around his others peers.  He was a bit withdrawn and was very shy.  However, if you started any sentence about writing, he would brighten up and talk to you all day!  Everyone who knew him was aware that he had a hard time socializing.  On the other hand, everyone loved him.  He was kind, caring and selfless.  He constantly asked people if he could help them with anything and everything.  He always put others first.
