CIP Brevard in Melbourne, FL will expand into new building space as early as March 2014 to support the growing enrollment of full year and summer program students. Founded in 2004 as CIP’s second program location, CIP Brevard has had a long history of successfully supporting young adults with learning differences in college, employment and social/life skills.

CIP Brevard staff are eager to assist with the move and excited about new possibilities the space will bring. A community garden, enhanced computer lab, outdoor instruction space, meditation garden, outdoor art mural space, and dedicated student lounge with state-of-the-art gaming systems will be used for pro-social events and entertainment. A large multi-use space will be utilized for martial arts, Taekwondo, fitness classes, trainings and other special events.

The new space is adjacent to the main campus of Eastern Florida State College (formerly Brevard Community College) where the majority of CIP Brevard students enroll. EFSC is expanding it’s 4 year college offerings and is in the process of construction new sports fields, a swimming pool, and student residence halls concurrently with CIP Brevard’s expansion.
