Do you worry about your young adults navigating the Internet? Has your son or daughter purchased items or befriended total strangers while surfing the web?

You are not alone. Studies show that adults with disabilities face significant challenges surfing the web, often with tragic consequences.

In our new “Ask the Expert” series, we are delighted to present a workshop entitled “Autism & The Internet: Sabotage, Safety & Strategies” with internationally renowned autism expert Dr. Laurie Sperry.

Join us Friday, Jan. Jan. 19, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Chapel Haven, 1040 Whalley Avenue, New Haven, CT. A light breakfast will be served and tours of the Chapel Haven campus will be offered upon conclusion of the workshop.

The workshop is free but pre-registration is required. You can register using this link: http://events.constantcontact.com/register/event…

Dr. Sperry is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and an assistant clinical professor at the Yale School of Medicine.
